A South African Police Helmet Plate, c.1926–1931 GTRexclude “NOISSEVILLE”(South African Police Helmet Plate) a die stamped brass helmet plate constructed in the form of a wreath of laurel leaves surmounted by the Imperial Crown, the centre bearing a circular medallion with the arms of the Union of South Africa surrounded by a circlet inscribed SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE, the reverse retaining its original attachment lugs for mounting to a colonial police helmet, measuring 82. 4 mm (h) x 100. 5 mm (w), displaying light surface
