I had tried for years to grow the commonly sold European form of this species with no luck and had given up until I found this growing near the village of Nari on the Korean island of Ulleung (aka Uulong)

All of these Helleborus x hybridus have been hand selected for color after flowering and are the finest crop of true butter yellow-flowered lenten roses that we've ever seen
