Georgian White Paste Floral Rivière Necklace pre-georgian the ostrich feathers presumably formingDATE: Georgian, c. 1800 A stunning Gerogian paste rivire necklace dating from the early 19th century, circa 1800. The links are modelled after flowers, each one set with nine glittering white old cut paste gemstones, and meeting at a glorious daisy centrepiece. The stones have survived remarkably well, remaining bright and clear over the original foiled back settings. Beautifully made and it sits perfectly, hugging the base of the neck just above the
