The top of each sconce is inset with a Sevres porcelain portrait miniature of Princess Elizabeth the Sister of Louis XVI & Madame De Montesson the wife of Louis Philippe Duke of Orleans. Below each portrait is a complex ormolu 'ribbon' surmounting a large porcelain plaque, the plaques are finely painted in
