Turkey, Republic. A Turkish Red Crescent Association 100th Anniversary Commemorative Service Medal 1868-1968 Hold the stars bordered by enameled(Turkiye Kizilay Dernegi). Instituted in 1968. Two piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, measuring 44. 7 mm (w) x 47. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear and contact marks evident on the reverse, silvered "1868 1968" clasp affixed to its original ribbon, enamelled hanger with a vertical pinback, near extremely fine.
