Frankoma, a combination of John Frank (the pottery owner's name) and Oklahoma (where the pottery was founded), made an interesting array of local clay based dish and decorative ware beginning in the 1930s. Like many potteries, Frankoma stayed in the family for over five decades, until the 1980s, when it was
