De l’exercice à l’oeuvre. Rome J’ai voulu préciser ce quiCatherine Denis, born in 1954, spent her youth in a musical environment that initiated her perception of space and rhythm. In 1980, she discovered Chinese calligraphy in Taiwan and then moved to China, to the National School of Fine Arts in Hangzhou. There, she deepened her knowledge of the art of brush writing. Back in France, she shared her experience with a few disciples while developing her personal work. A first journal, published in 2013, and
