Hedychium gardnerianum Compactum Thrillers This selection was made atThe amazing Nepalese native, Hedychium gardnerianum is one of the showiest of the wild ginger lilies. Hedychium gardnerianum 'Compactum' boasts giant flower heads of brilliant yellow, fragrant flowers atop 4' tall stalks. An additional highlight is the dark orange stigmas that protrude from each flower and provide a stunning contrast, starting for us in early October.
