Austria, I Republic. An Order Of Leopold, Grand Cross Star, By Anton Reitterer, C.1930 Newly Listed Instituted in 1889(sterreichisch kaiserlicher Leopold Orden). Instituted on 8 January 1808 by Franz I of Austria. Type III. (1914 1918 Issue). A silver eight armed rayed star with a central applique consisting of a cross patte constructed of gilded bronze with red enamelled arms bordered by white enamel, the obverse centre presents a red enamelled medallion inscribed FIA for FRANCISCUS IMPERATOR AUSTRIAE, surrounded by a ring of white enamel inscribed INTEGRITATI ET
