Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Shamrock Cross, the obverse with a central raised number 30, circumscribed by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE), the reverse with a central raised monogram of Duke Ernst I, unmarked, measuring 44. 39 mm (w) x 49. 17 mm (h),
