Five Second War German Medal Parts Recovered From The Zimmermann Factory Hold small hole in the fabricIncludes: two Iron Cross 1939 Face Plates (iron, 40. 5 mm each); and three War Merit Crosses with Swords (one First Class, two Second Class, tombac, bronze, 48 mm each). Footnote: Zimmermann was a well known German manufacturer of a great variety of awards, German and International, and was destroyed in an allied bombing raid in the early 1940's on Pforzheim, Germany. Sometime in 1990, during construction on the site, a quantity of medals was
