It is a great size on 32 count linen and doesn't overwhelm if you are new to specialty stitches. There are over 20 different bands with different stitches and techniques. The sampler is a comfortable size to stitch and it is charted in Silk DMC along with some specialty threads. This is not a sampler for beginners to stitching on linen. Most of it is
