Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of Gold with enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with a Gold frame and white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a hand painted and extremely detailed Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a gilt monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the
