In silver gilt, a Commanders set consisting of a multirayed eight armed cross with bifurcated ends, joined by a gilt band in each quadrant, obverse centre superposing by the bust of the national hero Francisco de Miranda facing left, surrounded by an enameled red border inscribed his name, the reverse exhibiting the Venezuelan coat of arms encircling by an ornament edge, measuring 40. 94 mm (w) x 58.
