Germany, Imperial. A Naval Wound Badge, Black Grade Auction 1898 of the Spanish Army(Verwundetenabzeichen der Marine in Schwarz). Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval chain link wreath, bearing a central raised anchor overlaid by crossed swords, the reverse with an elongated crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41. 19 mm (w) x 46. 16 mm (h), weighing 8. 4 grams, in near mint condition.
