Large Antique English Morley & Ashworth 'Mason's' Ironstone Pottery Angel Vase, 1862 Decorative Arts The painting being larger thanRare, antique, large 19th century exhibition ironstone pottery vase by Morley & Ashworth, for the 1862 International Exhibition. Morley & Ashworth had taken over the designs of Mason's Ironstone, after the pottery had fallen into bankruptcy. The vase having a gilded top with twin handles modeled as dolphins sea serpents, the blue ground decorated with scrolling gilded foliate. To the center of the vase is a winged angel holding two of the foliate
