It is a design by Lotte de Raadt for the design label Vij5. The unglazed stoneware absorbs water, which then evaporates. This evaporation cools the water in the bottle. These carafes are handmade by the designer herself in her own workshop. This white version is a Limited Edition. lotte de Raadt wants to stimulate the use of tap water with the Tap Water Carafe.
