Germany, Imperial. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, Screwback Version Province of China scattered gilt wear and spotting(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber an Schraubscheibe). Constructed of silvered magnetic iron, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaying crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a central threaded lug retaining an original backplate and nut, the latter marked with a D. R. G. M. code, otherwise unmarked, measuring 38. 69 mm (w) x 43. 26 mm (h),
