E. BLACK Co" on the reverse, measuring 46. 8 mm (w) x 47. 5 mm (h), both lugs intact, nick evident on the "1" of the "187" designation, scattered wear in the blackened finish, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the District of Red Deer, Alberta with mobilization headquarters at Red
