The Operatic War in New York - Original Print 1883 CDVs Opera signed by Sayo and KiepuraOriginal, vintage print published by Puck magazine on October 31st, 1883, just days after the inauguration of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. A very rowdy orchestra is performing on each side, with singers, each belonging to either the newly opened Metropolitan Opera or to the old Academy of Music. You can see some of the singers names (Nilsson, Patti, Sembrich, etc), also depicted are opera managers Mapleson and Abbey. Size is approx. 19 x 12. 5
