The yellow gold bezel has aged nicely and the watch is fitted with a yellow gold winding crown

The black gilt dial has a telemeter scale on the outer edge and a so-called ‘snail’ style tachymeter in the inner section

Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph Big Block 79170 chronograph A real contemporary witnessThe Full Set White Porcelain Big Block The Tudor Big Block is a key piece of Tudor history as it was the first automatically wound chronograph from Tudor or Rolex, in fact it was released a full decade ahead of the reference 16520 Rolex Daytona. This Big Block has a white, almost porcelain dial; a little like the early so called floating Daytona. The dial remains in perfect condition and all the lume plots are all intact. The case remains in good
